And the Lord was with Joseph, and he was a prosperous man; and he was in the house of his master the Egyptian.Genesis 39:2 (KJV)
Joseph was sold by his own brothers into slavery in Egypt for between 12 and 15 dollars. Because the Lord was with him he experienced so much wealth that he became a billionaire.
III John 2 says "Beloved, I wish above all things that you prosper and be in health even as your soul prospers." Joseph was a prosperous man because the Lord was with him. In fact, he was the first biblical billionaire. How did he manifest such vast prosperity? He simply developed a prosperous soul. He developed a prosperity consciousness. To make it practical, he developed his visionary capacity or the picturing power of the mind. What lessons did Joseph learn that aided his prosperity consciousness?
FOUR LESSONS JOSEPH LEARNED THAT INCREASED HIS PROSPERITY:
Joseph learned the power of non-resistance. He learned that in the realization of a prosperity consciousness that your good cannot be taken from you. Stop fighting others is the lesson.
Mastery over past experiences. He learned discipline from dreaming and visioning during times of solitude and quiet contemplation. Joseph experienced and learned from his time for inner growth.
Displaying a positive attitude toward past hardships was a key characteristic of Joseph's growth and development. He learned and mastered the art of actively practicing forgiveness.
In his soul growth he learned giving and thanksgiving. This was demonstrated in how he dealt with his brothers.
HIS IMAGING FACULTY
Joseph learned that God, the One Who gave him the dreams was the Source of prosperity and success. He developed a constant recognition of God as the Source of Good. In developing his visionary capacity, he developed his faith to receive the good.
What are the two primary elements of picturing? The two working elements are first; It brings Substance into visibility. Faith gives substance to things.
Secondly it provides stability based on a peaceful attitude and confidence that gives goo results in life. Have you been unhappy with your results in life? You can develop the visionary capacity.
One of the greatest lessons we can learn from Joseph is that mental and emotional readiness is necessary for prosperity.
He experienced prosperity based on a superior consciousness. This consciousness was developed through patience. The longer your good is in coming, the bigger it will be. Your prosperity is stored up in the spirit realm. The wealth of the sinner is stored up for the just.
Wealth Transfer Is God’s Idea!
Joseph was sold into slavery in Egypt for between 12 and 15 dollars. He experienced so much wealth that he died as a billionaire. His prosperity was the result of wealth transfer. Wealth transfer is God's idea.
16 “The evil man may accumulate money like dust, with closets jammed full of clothing—17 yes, he may order them made by his tailor, but the innocent shall wear that clothing and shall divide his silver among them. 18 Every house built by the wicked is as fragile as a spider web, as full of cracks as a leafy booth! 19 “He goes to bed rich but wakes up to find that all his wealth is gone. Job 27:16-19 (TLB)
GOD OF EXACT TIMING
We serve a God of timing and seasons. He is a God of exacting timing,
"To everything there is a season..." Eccl. 3:1
God promised Abraham wealth transfer.
His promised was a time based promise.
God was very exacting in His timing.
Genesis 15:13. "And he said to Abram, know of assurity that thy seed should be a stranger in a land that is not theirs and shall serve them and they shall afflict them for 400 years." Genesis 15:14 says, "And also that nation, whom they shall serve, will I judge and afterward shall they come out with great substance, [wealth]."
Exodus 12:40-41 says; “Now the sojourn of the children of Israel who lived in Egypt was four hundred and thirty years. And it came to pass at the end of 430 years – on that very same day – it came to pass that all the armies of the Lord went out from the land of Egypt.”
In Exodus 3:14 Moses had said to God, "When I come to the children of Israel and say on to them, 'The God of your fathers has sent me onto you.' And they say on to me, 'What is his name?' What should I say onto them?" 14 says, "And God said unto Moses, I Am That I Am. And he said, 'Thus shalt thou say unto the children of Israel, I Am hath sent me unto you."
I AM are the two most powerful words you can speak. Your I AM affirmation sends you into prosperity. God, the Great I AM promised Moses that He was going to bring these people out of Egypt and take them to a land of abundance, the land of the Canaanites and the Hittites and the Amorites and the Perizzites and the Hivites, and the Jebusites, and the termites, (I'm just joking, he didn't say termites ☺), onto a land flowing with milk and honey. God wanted Israel to become a people of vision like Joseph so that they could possess the land of blessing and prosperity.
SILVER & GOLD
Exodus 3:21 "And I will give this people favor in the sight of the Egyptians, and it shall come to pass, that, when you go, you shall not go empty. But every woman shall borrow of her neighbor, and of her that sojourneth in her house, jewels of silver, and jewels of gold." (Silver and gold is wealth). God told Moses you're going to leave with jewels of silver and jewels of gold. God promised to make Abraham rich. This was manifested in Joseph the visionary dreamer and Israel as they left Egypt. The Word says that the wealth of the sinner is laid up for the just; the Church of Jesus Christ!
Joseph was a type of the prosperous visionary CHRISTIAN. Joseph was a shadow and metaphor of the prosperous church of the last days! Upon this rock...
